Friends star Courteney Cox has been pictured at the Isle of Wight Festival, happily taking selfies with fans.

The actress, who played Monica Geller on the NBC sitcom, attended the music event with her partner Johnny McDaid, the keyboard and guitar player in Snow Patrol, who were Saturday night’s headliners on the main stage.

Ahead of the set, the 57-year-old obligingly posed for selfies with revellers and festival staff.

The star kept things low-key, wearing black skinny jeans and a black jumper, with a black bum-bag slung across her front, and her hair in loose waves.

Earlier in the week, she posted a picture of herself and McDaid, 45, on Instagram in which she held an access all areas pass for the band.

The star captioned it: ‘1st night in London with my @jmd_snowpatrol.’

Ahead of playing the Isle of Wight this weekend, the rock band performed two acoustic shows at the London Palladium, which the actress attended.

The couple were introduced by Ed Sheeran and began a relationship in 2013, becoming engaged but later breaking off their engagement while still remaining a couple.

Throughout the pandemic, they had to endure long periods of separation on either side of the Atlantic.

In August, Courteney posted in honour of her beau’s birthday, celebrating them being together again in stark contrast to August 2020.

Courteney was previously married to her Scream co-star David Arquette for 14 years and the pair share a 17-year-old daughter, Coco.

Earlier on Saturday at the Isle of Wight Festival, Ronan Keating delivered a surprise set at The Old Mout stage, performing Life Is A Rollercoaster and Sir Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl.

Former Oasis member Liam Gallagher also made headlines after sharing that he ‘fell out of a helicopter’ on Friday night after his headline set at the festival, sharing his injuries on Twitter.

The Script, Supergrass, Imelda May and Razorlight also feature on the line-up, with 80s icons Duran Duran set to close the festival on Sunday.
