Rylan Clark-Neal shared a cheeky message as he returned to Twitter for the first time in months.

The Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter has had a tough year, following his split from husband Dan Neal.

In his first post since April, the 32-year-old made a reference to his time out from social media, simply posting: ‘So…. What did I miss?’

Fans were undoubtedly thrilled to have the X Factor star back on Twitter, and flooded his mentions with sweet mentions.

‘Welcome back babe! You were missed but I hope you’re now in a better place after your much deserved break x,’ a follower said.

‘Oh im soooooo happy to see this tweet. Love you Ry. Welcome back Sweetheart,’ one agreed.

‘Even my parents missed you and love your mum. Big hugs x [sic].’

A Twitter user replied: ‘Argh I literally just screamed out loud when I saw you were back on here!

‘Aww we’ve missed you so much hun, and I’m so happy to see you back again! xxx.’

‘So nice to see you back @Rylan You are such a needed face on our screens,’ one posted.

‘All behind you when you appear with that glitter ball very soon! Take care xx.’

As Sam Quek added: ‘Glad you’re back xx Looking forward to watching you do your thing tomorrow xx.’

Rylan’s last post on the platform came five months ago, where he paid tribute to late friend Nikki Grahame.

The host took time out from the public eye following the breakdown of his marriage to Dan, after six years.

The former couple met eight years ago and tied the knot in a small ceremony in 2015, surrounded by close friends and family.

However, it wasn’t to last and they called time on their romance earlier this year.

‘We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most,’ Rylan shared in July.

‘I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love in due course,’ he continued.

The star had an extended break from his work commitment, taking time out from his radio show and stepping away from hosting the Eurovision semi-finals.

In his comeback show earlier this month, he told Radio 2 listeners that he was ‘feeling better.’

‘It does feel good to be back and I am feeling better,’ he vowed. ’A massive thank you to Vernon, to Gary, to Oti and to Cat Deeley for keeping this seat and my little baby lovely and warm.

‘When we’re allowed I’ll give you all a big cuddle. Thank you so so much.’
